Prince is a mixture of many talents....looks, playing ability, writer, actor, singer, dancer, snappy dresser etc. He's always been very visual in his life.

For me, it always starts and ends with the music. As a straight man, I never quite understood what women saw in him. I always thought women liked the macho/bad boy/thug/soldier type. I always used to think chicks that dig Prince secretly (or not) wanted to be with a woman. But if women didn’t find him attractive, he would have lost some of his lure to me, because I always marveled at how this skinny little thing got women to drool (kinda my hero when I was in HS ‘cuz I was a skinny sonofabitch too).

For me, as long as he still sounded and played the same, yes! I loved him years before I knew what he looked like. I was a fan long before the world of MTV came to be.

It depends on what you like in him.

Some straight men like his music and don't look at his sexy side.
Some women only see him on the sexy side and don't care as much about his music...

Hendrix is one ugly guy and I love Hendrix. I could care less if Prince was ugly or not.

obviously us fans don't see what others see in him....but most people that are not fans say he is very ugly....and looks like a girl, etc.

from my point of view the whole thing is not about how he looks, but the energy, about that certain something he has...as the matter of fact I didn't really find him so attractive, actually i found him kinda spooky when i was a kid...but now...I think he's mmmmm...too hot!

i don't think that it's possible to biferacate how one looks and the talents that he or she brings to this earth. the inner reflects in the outer - how one appears physically. plato or socrates said that were so ugly because of past life acts...

For me, talent makes a person more attractive. I known a lot of men who I thought were hot based on their musical abilities, but wouldn't win any beauty pageants. Prince's good looks are the icing on the cake for me. There are times when I find him more attractive than others, but I always love him just as much.
