Does "Automatic" use the same bass line of "Climax"? Scenario:
Morning...on the bus...my mp3 jamming to 1999...hence comes automatic...really loving it...the last minute of the song, the bass line is almost like Climax's? Does anyone agree with me?  | |

It is just the way he liked to play the bass then. Just the slapping of the snares is the same. It is the way Larry Graham plays the bass and that guy of Level 42 heavily stole it.
But you mean the playing at the utter end, right? That is just LIKE Climax, not the same. But I grant you, it is probably the same bass, recorded in the same studio in the same era. GRIN | |
