Just for making me think of Prince and George Bush (unfortunately, the first politician that came to mind) at the same time, I feel you should be immediately...

Prince has given me many years of satisfaction thru his music, Politicians have given me nothing but broken promises and false hopes.

that may b true.. but i got to thinkin...

our prancey is a judger of the heart..

what u speak is what u r in ur heart.

" from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks "..

now even though that accounts for one level of consciousness... (somewhere way down/out there)... his music still speaks more than any polly ever have.

wouldnt u agree?

if not, tell me why.

with respect. P. x

sure is, but its very accurate. thats how i feel about politicians doing a job only music can do.

why dont they go take dancing lessons, or at least learn to sing, or show at least ONE sign of being funky, having rhythm... at least...

we got people makin decisions that affect the whole world, who can't even tune into the planets natural rhythm, and yet musicians do..

and for some really fuckin stupid reason, 'they' put 'music' and 'artists' into the category of 'circus acts'..... purely for 'entertainment'.

entertainment??? shit if i wanna b entertained i'd go see a comedy.

im thinkin the pollies r the entertainment, and musicians r the ones with the key in the right hole.

prance and mj were my fav 'politicians' growin up, and John Lennon of course.

Oh please lol , I challenge the things you state on Prince, that is what messageboards are for, I don't constantly talk about you as a person. Just like when you made a claim and was asked for evidence to back it up and you had none, or when I asked you clarify babble, and you responded with more babble.

I don't get the comparison.

Policy, as in the actual product of politicians, helps govern citizens and provide resources for our lives: the allocation of funds for our protection, for education grants, the establishment of our businesses, the regulation of our commerce, even our ability to marry.

It's easy to dismiss what politicians do, on a surface level. But we depend on their work being relevant and fair.

Prince is an entertainer. And, despite the joy we might derive from his product, it probably shouldn't be as important or more important than the platforms of the politicians whose work affects our lives.
