i ripped all my prince cd's, records etc. as mp3 (128) on my harddisc - almost 1 gb.
sounds much, but in fact i don't even own all of the official stuff. i'm always speechless when i think about HOW MUCH prince has released in his carrere... and i wonder if it's possible to really have a "complete" collection.

Enougth but i am missing one song "The Second Coming"

I've been collecting for 2 years and I'm up to 312 Prince CDs as of today. Not to mention a large number of vinyl and cassettes.

My collections stems from 250 to 310..


its nice... some suck, but eye really only collect the EX sounding stuff.. screw audience recordings...

I have all the released albums and I have all the 12 inch singles and cd singles. I also have a good amount of bootlegs, books and videos. I also have a separated space for all my Prince collection. I can hang with most of the big-timers here.

I have all of his albums. Most of his 12" singles from Let's Work up until the Symbol album, as well as the odd singles and bootlegs. There's stuff like the comic books and as well as other interesting stuff, so there is a lot.

I used to think I had a good sized Prince collection until I went online...now I realise compared to alot of ppl, I don't have jack!

Some people have said how frustrating it is to try to collect all the unreleased Prince music that is out there. I think it's alot easier nowadays with the internet. 4 so many years I was the only "real hardcore" Prince fan that I knew of...I use to drive 3 hours just to get my hands on a new bootleg. I scowered Hollywood every chance that I got and when I was in NY I worked the record stores in the Village...It was tough but a great high when I found something new!Now with the internet, the search is almost too easy...I think the new jacks got it made sitting behind a computer searching the world electronicly. Maybe I'm about to turn 32 but the search was half the fun...Peace and Aloha~~
