Anyways. I am now bored with the song and this thread and I am off to see not-so-sweet Ryan Adams right now.

He can write any kind of song he wants, as long as the lyrics stay printed in those ridiculous P-bonics!

The way you said "I hate cute and I hate childrens movies" just made Oscar the Grouch pop into my head. Sorry to hear that tho, you miss a lot of fun then. Here, try some and then maybe you'll enjoy the lighter side of life. I do like Oscar the Grouch, of course! Don't worry, I have plenty of grown-up fun....not everyone likes the same things--doesn't mean I'm missing out on fun. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. I'm really digging it the more I listen. The horns are cool and I love the Camille like voice at the end. It has such a light feel to it.

Sounds like it should be in a kid movie. Then again, I am not expecting to break out the screams and say "...I wanna sincerly fuck the taste out of your mouth" 'A pillow covered in all our tears'

Nobody on that soundtrack is on the mainstream musical map. If the movie is a massive hit (possible), and they promote the heck out of the song (improbable) then maybe. But I doubt it. "What kind of fuck ending is that?"

Song of the Heart...this is a very nice groove and will fit in nicely with HAPPY FEET...and I would bump this song in my ride as it has a certain head bobbin' quality that I really like on this first listen. I am looking forward to seeing the movie and having the soundtrack in my collection. I think I'm off 2 share my very own song in my heart. Peace out y'all!

It sounds like the soundtrack for the new Olson Twin series for the Disney channel. Just saying. Not meaning to piss Prince fans off. Although that is an extra bonus, I must admit. Okay. So I am bitching. Just a bit. lol. i hear ya herman. it's too damn cute. still it's nice to have new prince music.. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

don't you touch those I'll Do Anything songs please mr. those were really groovy. this is just a good humour animated movie song and, i guess, i like it for what it is. don't see it as a new prince song, see it as a song for the movie. i just hope prince hops off the funk-light/jazzy bandwagon once he sets off to record his own new album. what we need for a prince album now is deep deep deeeeep thumping beats laced with all kinds of guitar solo's licks and riffs. no more afternoon tea jazz/funk please. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

although, listening to it for the 12th time in a row, reading the
lyrics as posted on this thread, it IS a perfect tune for the kids that go see this movie. the message is friendly and cool and it's not too heavy or nothing set to joyful music. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Considering the amount of time Prince has spent courting Hollywood recently, I excpect MANY more of these ventures.

I think it's so beautiful. I keep listening to it over, & over.
I also wonder who the back up singer is. God doesn't just tells me how much he "LOVE's" me, God shows me how much he "LOVE's" me. Both telling and showing "LOVE" means to "LOVE". They go hand in hand. You can't have one with out the other. Something is spoken, then followed by an action. That is
