ok, so since guys don't wear dresses, whose dress is it if not her's?

so i used to think "ouch, prince that's not the best writing" but as
it came up on shuffle in my car today, right after "Bambi", lol, the
lyric made more sense if she was cheating with another woman.

not her perfume - the other girl's perfume

In representitive speaking a dress is something someone is and a perfume is spiritual essance.

I think she's just wearing a dress and perfume that she got from her lover. I don't know if it's a man or a woman. It is a very sad and heartfelt song though!
