lyrically, "sd" ain't shit (2 me the song is more like an auditory wet dream than anything)...but musically...good lawdy lawd...the bassline gets me hot. i'm a sucker 4 basslines like that.

i remember the 1st time i heard "sd"--i thought 2 myself, "this ain't the type of song that's four minutes long, man!"

...strangely enuff, i wuz right. someone hooked me up with the 12" version about 3 years ago...i used 2 listen 2 it on a daily basis, no lie... i love this song 2 pieces...how 'bout ya'll?

I don't have the 12" version! But i agree, i can't get enough of this bassline, and love the song more and more every time i hear it.

My all time favorite Prince song. The groove of this song makes me feel like it is my theme song...I get chills when the song goes into the final part where the clavinet is playing and the bass gets some big bottom in it, and the synth comes in. Daaayuuum!!!
