If I found Prince uncool, I sure as hell wouldn't be here right now.

He never became uncool in my perception. IN fact, he is cooler now than
he was 20 years ago. He is much more slick in his appearance and not
as freaky looking. (all those wild outfits from the 80's)
His music is cooler than the top 10 on billboard..

Most of the time Prince has been cool to me but,the night he got on stage with James Brown and Michael Jackson was the first chink in the purple armor.

Prince is always cool with me, but maybe my cool isn't "cool".

Hey, I'd sudgest that Prince was never cool, he's always been a with a loud fronting of coolness.

However I'm sure that would be looked upon as a negitive comment toward prince, and then I would be seen as "uncool".

I thoroughly stand by the message in my sig, and yet, reading that Sinead and Prince still don't get along, seemingly due to Prince's arrogance, well, I would have to say that if the rumour is true (and I'm sure there is more to it and Sinead is to blame as well) then Prince MAY have become uncool to me as of about two days ago, when I read about that rumour.

But see, I just can't buy it that it's all Prince's fault. I'm sure he's capable of assholeism, but I can imagine Sinead has her demons as well; being a Catholic priest AND drug user/smoker is kind of funny, to me.

I have never found him "uncool" I did not like the assless pants but it showed he had balls for pulling that off and not to mention a nice ass. and I did not like the ponytail in Grafetti bridge.

The lawsuits against UPTOWN and a few fan websites have been extremely 'uncool'. I really hated him then.

And being a JV is pretty uncool too. Renaming songs like 'the cross' into 'the christ', all that self censoring like 'what the duck' for example is just stupid.

Performing with people like doug e. fresh, tony m., kirk johnson.

Shouting 'Join the club' while performing the (to me) holy song 'anna stesia', and totally destroying the song by doing that.

Performing on American Idol was very uncool, too.

How could he release crap like "1999 : The New Master" ????

All those announcements of projects "coming soon". He should learn to shut up, until he finished a project. It's just not not nice to tease the fans with music they will never get to hear in the end.

His failure to deliver a well produced DVD of his best tour in years, ona 2002. I was so extremely happy when I heard that he is going to release a DVD from his ONA Vegas concert, and was so disappointed with the final product.
He is surely a musical genius, but a very bad business man. Compared to products that other artists are able to deliver, this DVD is pure crap. I'm speaking about technical issues, not the music.
