Well, this is cool!
Prince is the greatest, yeah sometimes he can make us mad or upset or whatever but, when some fool says something dumb to us on the street about prince (you all know the same ol' tired stuff people say) we (atleast I do) jump to his defense, saying if you only knew the half of it, if you'd just listen to this or to that...there are so many different examples to show people of his great talent, and we do...don't we? Sho ur right! Prince is as awesome as they come! I've been jammming with him almost all my natural life and I will never stop! To me, he is the best of all time! There will never be another and I really feel that way. Sometimes when I am talking to others about him I feel so alone in my thinking because they refuse to see him for what he is. He is so versatile but some people only think of him as being some weird geek and not the virtuoso he is. He embodies music. He lives it breathes it and his conviction and his dedication to real music is what will make him stand out and outlast all the fakers. I am so glad to find people who also appreciate him and his music. I am not alone!

PRINCE ROCKS!!!

I was walking down a sidestreet off of Pacific Avenue today in Santa Cruz, and all of a sudden I heard some very familiar music. One of my friends, who doesn't even know much about Prince, wondered out loud "What's that music? Hey, sounds like Prince, Pam..."

About five seconds later it hit me that it WAS Prince, and it was being blasted from a second story apartment. Old-school stuff, from his early days, but still very exciting.

There's my Prince moment for the day.
