I love u SexyBeautifulOne.  U always have such positive feed back in your reply 2 some of these threads and so called prince fans who can be so negative towards every little thing he does. Its wonderful when people like yourself speak the truth with such sincerity. U always make such good points and I totally enjoy reading your posts as well as some of the others around here. | |

Last time I checked, 3121 wasnt available on iTunes (or for download purchase)... that means that the album went to Number One without any iTunes (or download) sales... I think that says alot... GOOD EFFORT ON KEEPING TOPICS OF DISCUSSION GOING
My take on Prince right now is that he is using the tv media to aid his marketing. The website will be back one way or another. He has tried and has been successful at selling cd's at a concert, he has been succesful and his first #1 debut album chart topper with minimal record company backing on marketing. He knows that the marketing is the key to success and he is setting things up for his next attempt. he is patient unlike most fans. He is setting up for the use for the super bowl that will be shown all over the world!! That would be a perfect time to kick off a world tour with a cd for every ticket sold. he is trying to change to record game and hoping it will catch on. and P.S. I KNOW WHO YOU ARE GRAYCAP AND I HAD NO IDEA YOU WERE SO CLOSE TO HOME!!! you cudda came and talked to me dude. . . .call a brotha!! TAPMUG!

Great description. He's always been kinda like an inventor...and he was always ahead of everyone eles. His eighties music always seemed to come out first and it seemed like everyone was always tagging along trying to catch up with him. He must find the distribution of music an equally exciting challenge. Good music just doesn't get to the public like it used to anymore. | |
