It seems that he probably does think God separated him from others with musical gifts, either he feels a great sense of responsibility or arrogance. I wonder does it make him uncomfortable when people put him on a pedastal constantly, that has to have some effect on your ego. Perhaps he really is a grounded person despite everything but just puts up a front. I do think about the clips of when he kicks ass onstage, then leaves the stage confidently, like when he played "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

I think that he recognizes that God gave him a special talent to touch people with his music. Also, I feel that he is grounded-he has to be to last this long. ya Prince.
