Is Prince losing his hair? A friend of mine brought this to my attention the other day when we were looking through some of the pics of P I have. And I know that lately P has been parting his hair down the middle and it does look like his part is getting a little wider. Dig the pic and tell me what you think.

some people think he is and he wears wigs... but he is 50 hes still strong for his age.

I can see results of years of brushing, relaxing hair, but it's not what I call losing hair. And even if he was, he would still be the most gorgeous and sexy man I "know". | |

Based on this picture, no. I don't think it helps to chemically treat hair for a long time which contributes to hair loss. It definitely thins with age, but if you have a good head of thick hair, like Prince has in younger pics, there's alot to lose.
There is a genetic predisposition to baldness. Hair thinning generally occurs prior to age 40 and as early as 20. There's a gradual onset with thinning at the temporal lobes and advances to the vortex. There's variable expression of the gene. I see this pic and don't think male patterned baldness. If it ever thins too badly, hopefully he'll take it all off and get some funky hats. If he's really feeling like hair, he can do like Warhol and take it out of a box. I agree. It's just parted. I don't see any hair loss.
