Im not feeling terribly old and depresed or anything - I love my life at the minute and I probably look a hell of a lot better now than when I was in my 20's confused
What Im saying is life just flies by at an incredible rate - I suppose its when it starts slowing down you have to worry wink

I dont know about you - but I think my life is flying past me at an incredible rate??

How come I can remember 1999 being released?
How come I can remember Girls and boys being released???
U got the look?????

oh my god - Ive just realised that I am nearly 33 years old - and Prince has been there - in my ears - since the tender age of 13!!!

I feel sad - but happy at the same time - that hes been there and Ive supported him this long - nearly giving up on him at some points - but never letting go wink

But that doesnt stop me from feeling like an old fart at the moment lol!! confused

LMAO, 33 is Y-O-U-N-G. I'm 47 and I can still remember the first time I put my 45 of "Soft and Wet" on the turntable.

The best way to make time last is to fill it up. I think the reason people say time flies is because they let it get away. Set little goals and accomplish them every day, and set big goals that get accomplished along the way, and you won't ever worry about time flying by.

The only reason many of us feel "old" is because we remember when 1999 seemed like it was SO FAR AWAY.

Hell! I remember when 1984 seemed like it would never come.

But ... whatever!!

Prince Fam since 1980 (at the tender age of 13).
And still lovin' it (at the ripe age of 38).

I think I'd rather be ripe than tender anyway.
Once you ripen up, your fruit is juicier!!

Screw the age stuff. Pretend like you don't know your age. You have no idea. No one told you your date of birth. Simply take it out of the equation when your thinking about age and years old.

That feeling that you have left and the way you think about yourself, your energy, your reflection in the mirror and your friends...that is exactly how old you are.

Get up and dance!! Ain't nobody gonna do it for ya! cake

Our circumstances are identical Wendy, and time does seem to fly for most of us.
I do, however, have the satisfaction of finding Prince at thirteen and having him enrich my life for twenty years. Looking back, I've been lucky compared to others who lack my passion for something so positive.

I'm happy to be where I am with all my life experience - and Prince's energy is a true inspiration for all of us.

You're just a baby, I can remember Prince's first concert in Philly, he opened for Ricky James and Teena Marie and the album he had out was called "Prince". Damn, now I feel old! lol
