If U were shown "love" they way the patrons of this site show in regards towards Prince...would U want to know people like that in your life?

Sure-even though there maybe some who go overboard with their affection for Prince I'm sure he knows that people love him literally and yes I would want to know that kind of love in my lifetime. We are supposed to love one another .

In many ways are we not "shown" love the way patrons of this site show it?

Of course, you did use the word "patrons". That's probably the more operative word here. One will probably have some bond with The patron of one's product because of the nature of that give and take relationship.

This has nothing to do with love, though.

The problem that I find with this site is that there is very little BALANCE. U have a few diehards’ people who back Prince on EVERYTHING and U have the other extreme which COMPLAINS about every move Prince makes. If I were Prince or any artist who has so called fans, this site would turn me totally OFF from the fan.

As the old saying goes, with friend like these, who need enemies?

Can anybody here actually truly 'love' Prince? I mean, I like his work enormously but I certainly don't ever profess to love somebody whom I've never even met and I'd be very suspicious of anybody who claimed to love somebody who they only knew through that person's publicly displayed persona and their work.

I would imagine that this is the norm with fan sites. For the most part there is the middle/majority, the lovers, the haters and the guy that posts false concert info. Nothing unusual here.
