I heard "The Word" this morning

Almost wrecked my car. This morning I heard "The Word" on a local gospel radio show!! It reminded me of two things 1. Just how great that song is and 2. That it is a bona fide gospel song!!

Pretty awesome if ya ask me.

Peace

That's awesome right there! I might have done the same thing if I was in your position but thank goodness you didn't wreck your car biggrin . Goes to show you that Prince can do it all musically.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

I did too during a "hip-hop & gospel mix" I couldnt believe that Prince was being played on Sunday morning, that would be the last thing I would expect to hear.

I was just listening to this song and thinking that five months later 3121 is still a good album to me. It's a shame that some of the songs didn't get more airplay. Guess it just goes to show you how jacked up radio is these days. I only hear songs on the less mainstream Urban AC stations.

I've never heard Prince on the radio. Well, only on LAREDO's OLD SCHOOL.
They often play I Wanna B Ur Lover and KISS.

Technically it's vague enough to include all denominations of Christianity, not just JWs. Of since Prince is a JW, that's where it was coming from. I think he toned it down so all Christians could enjoy it.

They are playing it with some regularity (I've at least heard it twice) on Belgian Radio (Radio 1 nontheless). New Prince gets lots of play here in recent years.
