Love Bizzare's extended version was hot as shit especially with Eddie M blowing the shit out of his sax(simple but sweet), but Erotic City was the ultimate funk groove....it still rocks clubs to this day while Love Bizzare has to be requested. | |

A LOVE BIZARRE hands down, yeah EROTIC CITY starts out funkier but A LOVE BIZARRE finishes funkier & it has more lyrics and it's just as much a funk classic (hip hoppers let's remember Krush Groove). Both songs made my funk jam cd featurings other greats funk groups like George Clinton, James Brown, Cameo, Bootsy Collins & Rick James |

Erotic City. I can remember when my uncle gave me a record of When Doves Cry and the other side was Erotic City. I must have said I liked Prince and he must NOT have listened to it before giving it to me. I was only 11 or 12 at the time. I can remember playing it on my record player that had lights that kept time with the music. Man, that thing was cool. When I listened to EC I was like

IMHO these are two of Prince's greatest dance tracks. I have to give the nod to Erotic City though becuase at the time it was just so original. It still holds up as a bad ass jam when they play it at a club

This is unfair! I think everyone has the same problem. if I said, would you ever put a song above A Love Bizare in a 1 on 1, everyone would be NO WAY! But then, how can you top Erotic City? You can't.
So, the answer is Erotic City wins, but A Love Bizarre doesn't lose. In other words, A Love Bizarre is best. It's just Erotic City's better. "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"
