I'm trying to stay away from Credit Cards, and you can't gain membership any other way, here's a letter I sent and received from the NPGMC: (I'm the one asking questions ofcourse)

1) I don't own a credit card, I'm trying to stay away from them. I have my $100 membership fee, I was wondering if there were other payment options. Could I send the club a money order? If so, I would need an address if available.

2) It being the middle of the year, will I still recieve 'The One Nite Alone' CD, I understand that the first batch have already been sent out, will there be a second?


Yes, all 2002 members will get the same 4 CDs no matter when they join.


3) Any word on dates for the next 3 CD's ?

4) What are/if any plans for next year, what should we expect, and look forward to?

So, unless I sign my name to the many credit card apps I recieve, there will be no NPGMC for me. I'm a college student, $100 bucks doesn't come along as often. When I had the money, I tried to get into the club but as you can see, I was unsuccessful. Like I said I'll find other means to gain membership to the club

I'm not a member simply because I don't wanna be a part of some exclusive "music club".I'm an Old Fashined guy who prefers to walk into a record store and buy my favorite CDs.Also,nowadays,I don't feel the need to hear *EVERY* single unreleased Prince song or album.For the most part,I think the club is a great idea for diehard fans though.

i am not a member simply cuz of this: exclusivity ain't all that cool. why the heck would i wanna sit in on a soundcheck and stare at ol' boy 4 an hour or what-not?? it just ain't 4 me.
