God is a myth that has been perpetuated over the ages, but it is a useful myth in many ways. Most people need myths and there are many who would argue that all societies need their own myth in order to survive. These myths are very similar across cultures and did NOT start with christianity or judaism. The origins of the god myths, and even the Jesus myths are ancient.

There are many God's but,only one True God.His name is Jehovah.The God of the Bible.There are many real dates,times,places and people to closely confirm to accounts in the Bible.Also,History and Science in most cases do coincide with the Bible.He is the author of the Bible.God has many titles but,only one name.In most Bibles God's name has been removed and placed with the titles Lord or God.But,when the Bible was written the name Jehovah appeared in it some 7,000 times.Exodus 3:15,psalms 83;18
His outstanding qualities are love,justice,wisdom,and power.He is also merciful,kind,forgiving,generous,and patient.

Irish echo you are the narrow minded twit! Actually I have noticed alot of that on this site. You all yammer over and over about freedom of thought and ramble on with your " intellectual" reasoning yet all you really believe is that you are right and therefore if anyone has a different viewpoint than yours they are wrong. It gets old, you try so hard not to conform that all you do is conform. People do have the right to have other viewpoints and try to share them.(check the first amendment) if you don't agree eith these beliefs fine but don't bash people for having them, or trying to help others. Aggie asked a question Bible teacher answered from his point of view. Get over yourself, I'm not trying to be mean but jeeze do you just look for his threads so you can bash him or what? If so you need to find a hobby. Try history you might learn somthing.
