Just wondering...how of you guys out there are musicians ,who for valid reasons, actually like P's work? Maybe regard him as an influence? OK, i ain't asking for amateur musos but guys who gig all the time, session work...MUSICIANS! DAMMIT!. and what do you play? no braggin' please...you ain't Prince.

I consider myself a musician. I myself have been highly influenced by the man. Just his ability to master each instrument alone is enough to inspire just about anyone. I play guitar, bass, drums and a little keys. It's just fun trying to mimic his stuff

I am a solo musician, and although my music is not like Prince's music, he is a constant source of inspiration to me. He is my favorite guitarist, plays the keys like a madman, and his vocal range is amazing. I love how he layers his vocal harmonies throughout the verses. My current favorite Prince tune is "Underneath the cream"...very catchy. I am currently on the top 100 unsigned artist chart on MP3.COM. You can hear my stuff at
