This thread is hardly dwelling . Dwelling is the inordinate amount of threads that analyze Prince's latest hairstyle or lament Prince's conversion to Jehovahism as the downfall of his music or how great the Butter concert was (<--people are still talking about that at npgunderground, btw). Or complaining about how Warner Bros won't give you your masters--now that is dwelling on something. If you want to drink purple Kool-Aid take it to a site where it belongs...oh, wait, that site is on hiatus... Instead of complaining about the negativity you perceive exists, you could start a thread of your own and call it "Name one Prince song you just can't live without hearing daily" or something. Sorry to be so harsh, but the influx of psycho bunnies are starting to work my nerves.

Now you made me feel kinda bad that I was snippy. Apology accepted and no worries. I've done the same thing (posted things I probably shouldn't have) when I was in a foul mood. I respect that you came back and posted an apology.
The "true fan" (fam) subject is a touchy one regardless of which site one frequents and since NPGMC closed there are a lot more people posting than before which is creating a new dynamic. The Org definitely has a different vibe than NPGMC had--it just takes awhile to figure out people's "personalities" and it is very sarcastic here (which I personally love...but it does take some getting used to).  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |

Freaks On This Side
Even on my most purple kool-aid drinking, ruffled pirate shirt wearing, just saw Prince last night at the concert and the aftershow and damn if he don't still got it days, I couldn't pretend to like one second of this aberration. There is absolutely nothing good about this song, other than the fact that it makes anything else played near it sound like pure fucking genius.
