Do you have a room in ur house or maybe ur bedroom that is Prince themed? You know with posters and stuff?

No, but when I was younger I did all of that-the poster thing, everything .

No, in my "home office", I have the "The Hits" poster framed and a basket that displays books about Prince, next to my 2 scrapbooks on an 'end table'(one has a purple paisley cover). It irritates me when people call it a "Shrine". My music is also in this room, so that's where I keep music-related things.

I have a friend who literally has a whole room devoted to him- every wall is covered, the closet is full of Prince/ clothing, a display case w/ paraphrenalia, framed photos, the screensaver changing on her computer screen...

I sure do! Growing up in the 80's I was never allowed to listen 2 Prince or have any posters...So as an adult I do collect Prince memorabilia. I've got tour posters from each tour framed along with other things. The room doesn't look all "ratty" but I think everything looks good framed or mounted on board...Aloha~

I've got a Musicology poster hanging on the wall, a concert T-shirt serving as a chair cover, Dvd collection on display (official and bootleg), etc...

I do have a Prince drawer too, and it creeps out all who peer inside

I have a Prince cupboard (closet if you want to call it that)
Ive rigged it so whenever you open the door a purple light comes on and Purple Rain is played through a little stereo.

But of course!

Not so much as a whole room anymore, did that when I was younger.

Now I just have framed posters strategically placed. One in my living room, one in the lobby of my studio, one in my office at my studio, and this one in a 5x7 frame on my desk.



I may need to use that musical alarm idea on it though because my Prince loving clients keep trying to walk away with it!

In my current house I have a couple of posters in a spare room, but as a teenager in my parent's house, my walls were totally covered in Prince!

Even my cupboard door had little cut-outs of pictures from magazines like Number One and Smash Hits, like a collage. Up the side I had those great middle spread posters from Controversy magazine. Very proud of it, so I was.

I do have a picture somewhere in my archive, if I manage to get it scanned I'll post it here.

I would love to do something classy now that I'm more mature - framed pictures is where it's at..have to do something, really.

I was thinking about it..until I read this thread.

I have a lot of vinyl and other things that have value and it would do them a lot of good instead of having it on a shelf or in boxes. Magazines, books, whatever.

Son't even mention my boxes of posters. It would kill some die hard collecters what is just sitting in there.

I guess I could make a "Prince Room" and next time a thread comes up asking if I have a "Prince Room", I will just say i was thinking about it....until I read this thread.

I have a big purple cabinet that I made a few years back to store all my Prince CDs. I used to have all the posters up all over the walls, but I took them down recently (getting a little too old for that stuff )

We have something Princey in every room of our house. In addition to this, we have one room that is VERY Prince inspired. I'm realizing I don't have pics of it on this computer, so I'll be back later to post a few...

When I was younger yes my whole room was Prince. But know that I'm grown and have my own house not so much. I do have the UTCM movie poster framed and you can see all my CD's and DVD's and VHS on display. The rest is in storage containers in the closet.
