So suppose one day Prince REALLY put some effort into an autobiography... He sits down and pours his heart out, touching on all aspects of his music and personal life... From childhood to the present, what 2 or 3 topics, moments or relationships would you like him to elaborate on...

Also, how much money would you SERIOUSLY spend on a true tell-all from Prince?

The problem is that I could never be convinced that he's telling the truth. If he wrote it under the influence of a truth serum, maybe I would believe, however I wouldn't pay anymore for his book than I do for any others.

If Prince wrote a tell-all book he'd be in violation of his own Confidentiality Agreements and therefore he'd have to change his name to a symbol all over again to get clearance.

I wouldn't know if he was telling the truth, but I'd probably pay quite a bit of money for it anyway, just to see what he has to say. Think of it...if he weren't telling the truth it would be fiction...and could be quite interesting fiction... So truth or not, I'd still read it and pay for it. It might even be funny.

And imagining a whole 200 page plus book written with the "2 u" type thing is hilarous to me.

The value of the book should be gaudged by the amount of truth you'd find in it.

I'd really like to read about significant experiences in his childhood cuz I think you can really understand where someone is coming from and who they are today by looking at things that happen in their childhood...it shapes alot of who you are I think.

Also I know lots of people wouldn't care to read about this but I'd be pretty interested in how he became a JW. I'd be curious to know why he feels that is the right choice for him. I know absloutly nothing about the religion so I really can't judge his decision. Maybe if he wrote about it and explained how it has made him a better person his fans wouldn't be so against it.

Then I'd like him to write about Denise Matthews and their friendship...cuz I think she is cool and hot!

i think it would be great for him to write his own story.
But as with the other people who have mentioned it he would never tell the truth.

I'd pay the normal amount for a book. If he were pulling no punches I'd like to hear about his reationships with his half brother Duane, his mom, and his various bands.

I'd like to know what he envisioned for himself when he first got into the music business.

I'd like to read about what his biggest thrill and what has disappointed him the most about the music business.

If I could get a guarantee of some kind that would prove that he wasn't lying I would buy it,

I would pay (it would have to have more pages than friggin Harry Potter) about 50-60 buck for self-written grade-A poop.If it was straight up truth.

One thing, I feel I must say, you all who truly assume that Prince could ever write a truthful "tell-all" book, mistakenly assume Prince could truly judge the reality of the events that unfold around him.
