Who else thinks 3121 is the best song?

I love this song. First couple listens it was just ok now i found it headbang. Why wasn't this the first single off the album back in Dec. I could hear the whole country 3121 that where the party be. Does anyone live at 3121 or close too it. I'm 2135

It's like "Jam of the Year", that wasn't, and moreover.

It seems meaningless. I don't think there is meaning to it. I think Prince ran out of things to say, so he started singing about numbers.

If he does a video for it, maybe he should have big bird, Elmo and Grover as back up dancers. That would be cool.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

Fams are cool enough, it's those foolish little people that like putting on the purple capes with their masks that make me laugh.

All things aside, it would be a cool video. Think about it.

love it. one of the most original funk-to-the-max songs he's done in a while. i believe the numbers are most definintely biblical references. . . but ya'd have to be inta the Bible to appreciate it.

I think it's his best song in 11 years.

I wonder how many die hard Jehovah fans really dig Prince lyrics and music. I just can't see a bunch of them getting down to 3121 funk. But it is a Prince classic.

Yeah, it's up there with "Fury" and "The Dance" as my favorite tracks off the album.

It's got a great vibe to it - kind of like a mix between Camille and The Undertaker. Funky rhodes and a killer synth line... It's the kind of Prince stuff I love - walking the fine line between genius and insanity!

To be honest,it took me about the fifth time listening to it until I thought of it as a classic Prince cut but by the time I got it then it was always played twice in my cd player. Love it!!!
