Eye know its not the most revered song on here but it is the symbol mans only no. 1 single (yes america isn't the only country u know).

Anyway theres the hit single version which officially goes for 4 mins 7 seconds.

Then there's the version off the beautiful experience which officially goes for 4 mins 37 seconds and sounds 2 me like an extended version of the original.

Finally theres the version off the Gold Experience which goes for 4 mins 25 seconds and seems to be universally touted as the least popular version with added flutes and whistles.

My question is which one is the best?

I'm just fine with the original version featured as track 7 of The Beautiful Experience CD.

I actually really like The Gold Experience version.

The mustang mix had to grow on me for a while but now I like that version better than the album version. However I do feel that the album version has a lot more feeling in it.

without any question; the 1. version ..that means the one OFF the album.
I was actually a little disapointed when I heard the version on the gold xperience, it was too "right" too nice and perfect! (too boring)
The first version from the "maxi"single was great!
-also the Mustang Mix was cool, great drum beat, and great vocals !
more mellow feeling to it..

I have the disk with all the remixes and the original is still the best followed by the mustang mix.Still hard to believe it was 11 years ago i bought this CD.
