i want to send him something... does anyone know if he recieves/reads mail from fans?

This is a very good question that I have had recently too.

I have been working on a project for about 2 years and the final result of the labor is a week away. What we have made for Prince is way too expensive to just send out and cross fingers that he will receive it.

Prince is always on the move, and to pinpoint where he will be is about impossible. We were thinking that Paisley Park was probobly our best bet to communicate, but if anyone else has a better thought on the subject that would be helpful.

Um, I don't think he thinks that.

He rubs our fan mail on his naked body and masterbates into a pile of it.

I have an interesting incident to relate.
I live in India.

I had sent my wedding card to Prince's address last year,
I did not have his complete address so I simply wrote "Prince and Manuella, Bridle Path, Toronto, Canada",
It came back to me a few months later with many comments and scribbles from the Canadian Post guys.
The first scribble was a big question mark, then some other person with a pencil had commented "Address ?" (if I remember correctly !), then someone had put an arrow mark and written "The singer Prince".
Then there was a comment "Refused by addressee".
SO there you have it, it actually did reach Prince's house (thanks to Canadian Post) but was refused by his staff maybe.
SO I deduct from the incident that he does not encourage direct mail.
I had sent one card at the Paisley Park address too but got no reply though.
I have kept the card unopened somewhere, maybe I should dig it out, maybe it becomes a collector item one day - a letter / card that managed to reach Prince's house

I wrote few times...I NEVER GOT an answer but I think Prince read them...
Therefore the last time I wrote 2 Paisley Park Studios my letter was sent back 2 me...REFUSED

With the many fans that P has, what makes u think that he could possibly read his fan mail? There would be no time for making music. I would say he has his fan mail staffers handle it, and if there is anything from a fan that might be truly significant, then possibly P will read it. But I wouldn't count on it.

BTW, Prince wouldn't have hell to see in his eyes for anybody, JWs don't believe in hell unless they found out the truth.

Unsolicited mail received by Paisley Park will either be refused and returned to sender, or is discarded - unopened and unread.

I'm sure Prince deeply appreciates all his fans and the things we have to say to him but Prince really doesn't have the time to read everyone's letters. I wouldn't take it personally if something got sent back or he never got it. Lots of people love him...it would be impossible to acknowledge everyone.

well,

i know for a fact he read the notes i wrote that were inside some gifts i made 4 him...but they were handed to him by a friend of mine who was in his band at the time...

but i'm sure he reads letters people send, when he's in that kind of mood...

Didn't he use to pass them out to his friends so they could all have a good laugh?
