New Breed Fan Club Members?? Stand Up, Recognize! Any New Breed fan club members here from before the Purple Rain days??
And I've been online since late 1984, beginning with my Commodore-64 and a VicModem through Compuserve, Prodigy, and a new up-and-coming online service called AOL -- maybe you've heard of it? Remember when we used to get charged by the minute back then with 100-free minutes a month. Chat was $$$. | |

Ummm no. in 1984, I was 14. discovering girls, discovering myself, maybe I would have, but it wasn't until 1998 when I bought my own computer that I got online.
in 1984, I wasn't even into prince. Though, truly I've never been into any type of music. However, I'd like to hear more of those days long past. News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop. | |

I'm not sure if it was pre-PR days but I just came across a lot of my new breed stuff. I had actually forgotten about most of it. I have buttons, a pin, the Purple Rain tourbook, publicity photos, etc. When did the N.B. club disband? I don't recall getting a letter that it would be done, they just stopped sending. I also don't recall how much it cost, if it was a annual cost or what. Eventually every cloud runs out of rain. | |
