Actually the thread title is slightly incorrect - it was ALWAYS cool to be a Prince fan, just not "trendy"... THAT'S the difference

It's ALWAYS been cool 2 be into prince. Those who thought that it was not cool was not COOL. Kool?

After all these years my girl’s finally got hook on Prince because of 3121. The youngest girl must have been talking about Prince 2 her friends because she came home upset telling me she heard something bad about him and I to was going 2 be upset also. I asked her what had she heard that was so disturbing. I thought something bad had just happened 2 Prince. She was told he worships the devil.

Okay so just because he's been there a long time don't mean we should all go listen to 50 cent me likey being special, just like the man himself...I know this guy, 38 years old, we both have a passion for prince, it's kinda interesting to talk to a generation that's actually been in the period of tight leather assles pants

When I was growing up, it was very cool to be a Prince fan. It's still cool to be a Prince fan because those that don't like him ain't cool.

I think it's cool, to be a fan of a musician that is different and versatile as Prince. Now as an adult, I still have some friends that make fun of me for being a Prince fan. Other friends though seem to except the fact that I'm a Prince fan and actually like some of the Prince songs that I play.
