It is a good song. I can't seem to get into it though. I think its cuz it reminds me of Mani.

It's beautiful -actually when I received my first copy of Musicology at the concert I listened to it on my way home in the car and I knew that this song was a hit from the first time I heard it. Love it .

It's ok. I was never that crazy about it.

It took me a while to like it. It seemed like something he does in his sleep, but it's pretty good.

In concert it was surprisingly bad, though.

I think that this song is one of the best off Musicology. I liked it right away. It reminds me of the old Prince.....you know the How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore? era.

the vocals are above good, the instruments are clear and lovely
the arrangement is very nice and the atmosphere of this song is
just gorgeous

and still, it feels bland and uninspired. it's got a lame vibe
despite being a top notch performance.

Like you say, the instrumentation is really good--simple bass, drum, & piano--but really well done.

I still love this song. I used to play this song all the time after I got the CD. It's a beautiful and romantic song.

I still find this song to be among the top 5 most overrated in his canon. He's done so many better in the same vein before.

Call My Name is as dry as a piece of unbuttered toast.

The melody is beautiful, I love this song...

One of his weaker slow songs. Too adult contemporary sounding.

what a difference 2 years make. people were up in here loving this song now it's practically called uninspired tripe. too funny.
