Prince in Rytmi magazine

In the newest edition (June-August) of the Finnish magazine Rytmi there is a 13 page feature on Prince. It's pretty much a career-spanning overview of our favorite tiny person. The article features some stuff your Average-Joe might not know and the writer seems to have done some research before writing this stuff. There are also some interesting quotes from Prince and Alan Leeds. Too bad the article is not without fault. The writer forgets all about Brownmark and where there supposedly should be a picture of Prince there is a picture of Miko instead. Also in the writers opinion Graffiti Bridge (the song) is a gem omg. The article does have some cool black & white pictures of Prince including a pic I've never seen before of Prince, his father and Chick Huntsberry. For a peek at the cover photo of the magazine, visit http://www.rytmi.com/

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

A nice article, but a bit boring for someone who already knows something about his career. A simple chronological story with some interesting details.

The article also seems to confuse the order of For You and Prince. Also it mentions Crystal Ball (1998) as an album recorder in the 80's, clearly mixing it with the original unreleased Crystal Ball.

BUT the most shocking reveal (?) was released in last wednesday's Ilta-Sanomat (finnish yellow paper):

According to "Finnish American Reporter" -newspaper (never heard of such) Prince's grandpa's mom was Hilda Romppainen who had moved from Finland to Minneapolis to work as maid.

Hilarious!
