Musically, it just won't work. She is good at her style, he is good at everything, but only certain people like either one of them, and the blend would be too much. Prince is funky, she is more rockabilly. Prince has some rockabilly influence in there sometimes, but the voices and the rhythms would definetly not match with them.

Clinton definetly had his own thing...the Prince and P-Funk union is just a friendship. Larry had his own thing in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's (my favorite periods of music, btw) but Prince and Larry work well together, IMO. I think the bass style and the spiritual lyrics between them make it match. Larry is better with Prince than without him at this point in his career.
