Has there ever been a performance, a song or a picture of Prince that has brought tears to your eyes? I cried after I saw Purple Rain.

He brought tears 2 my eyes the first time I saw him in concert. I was in junior high and I was so overwhelmed that I was even in the same building as him and the minute he walked out on stage I lost it!!

Yep...that one time he was peeling onions onstage during the aftershow.

Everytime I hear "Last December."

everytime i see him live. not sure what brings it on, no particular song or anything, but there is always this moment when i'm in complete awe and admiration. i love him.

I cried at the end of UTCM. He died.

Tears once formed in my eyes during a concert - however, my reaction was not the result of emotion, but rather due to smoke from a joint which someone nearby had lit up.

Not really, I can't stand been to over obsessive fan that I would cry if I met him. I really can't stand it sense I have seen other obssesive fan, Im like why are you crying. The only way I would cry if he was in a drama movie and there was sad part. Like Purple Rain.

His guitar solo during "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". I was in total awe. I don't think I had ever heard him rip it like that.

yep, when i saw him on stage in the UK , ONA tour, 4 feet away from me, dead centre holding HABIBI [Purple symbol guitar] singing Empty Room. It really, really doesn't get much better than that. Even the Gods woulda wept that night!.

I've loved prince since i was five years old, i'm now 22! when i was younger i would listen to thieves in the temple, and that was the first time i cried i think i was 7!!!
since then i've cried when i've seen him live, just cannot believe i'm in the same room as him, and everytime i hear him play the guitar, (holy river), gets me everytime!! x x

I once spontaneously started crying to "condition of the heart", it was the most bizarre thing.

A tear or two flowed down my cheek the first time that I saw Prince in concert. I was 18 years old. Hearing Prince pay alot his hits was like a rollercoaster of emotions for me. I was born in 1979, so Prince's music is literaly the soundtrack of my life. By the time he got to Purple Rain and I heard those chords, I couldnt hold it in any longer. I remember outstretching my arms and just taking in all of the love. I felt like I was in church. The atmosphere was so magical in that arena. I didnt care who saw me cry. It was just so beautiful.

There have definitely been moments - usually during live guitar solos - where I am moved either to tears or to the brink of tears. It's very spiritual, and seems to happen at points where he seems to have ascended to a higher plane while playing.

I cry whenever I c him-on stage, tv, or wherever. What can I say? I totally love this man!!!

I never cried to his music but once.

After a show I went to see an aftershow where he performed The War. The crowd was a bit tame, but the words were getting to me so much I just cried. It had to do with the fact the words he spoke were so sad and I was sad at that time too.

Yes, at the end of the movie, Purple Rain, but that's about it.

Two main times...

Once when I was first getting into Prince I just started
listening to Diamonds and Pearls (the song) over and over again after a really crappy night

And when he came on stage at the Musicology tour through
a cloud of smoke (my first Prince concet )
