Hey i'm looking for information be it in tab form or sheet music on how to play the Sign O the Times bass line. My band is just starting out and we want to learn that song.

this song may be perceived as simple, because of it's minimalistic approach...if you can't figure it out by ear

The bass guitar line? Isn't it just four notes? Surely you can zero in on it if you try. But if you're talking about the percussion part, that is a bit more complex but possible if you have a drum machine and/or a sampler and sequencer. Otherwise, try your own arrangement and see if you can't make it even more funky. Also, it's easy enough to sample the opening measures and then putting them through some effects processors to come up with a real interesting loop to play on top of. By the way, if you don't mind my asking, any particular reason why you and the band chose this particular song?

Not sure bot IMO there is no bass line in SOTT

last time i checked it was Bb C C D#
just the basic part anyway
