I'm still on my Adore binge. I listened to it about 5x straight today... but the only song I ever listened to 10x in a row is The Beautiful Ones. A LONG time ago!

i'm pretty sure i listened to Crystal Ball 10 times in a row when i first heard it.....totally blew me away.....not the released version, but the shorter one with the pruple underground speech minus the orchestra.....Was just the most fascinating funky thing i'd ever heard

Dang, I've binged on many of his songs like that. I think I've done it for Dirty Mind, Beautiful Ones, I Would Die 4 U, Ballad of Dorothy Parker, Play in the Sunshine, All My Dreams, Electric Intercourse, Empty Room, Moonbeam Levels, I Wish U Heaven, Scandalous, Joy N Repetition, Diamonds and Pearls, 7, Love 2 the 9s, Damn U, Erotic City, Peach, Eye Hate U, TMBGITW, Dinner W/Dolores, Come On, and possibly some others. Sometimes I play loops of 3-5 different songs over and over again. Sometimes I play whole CD's over and over again.

Back in the day I had a 90 minute tape of nothing but this song over and over and over again. I used it to study when I was in college (a long long time ago) and it really helped me focus.

Computer Blue- hallway speech. I can't listen 2 it just once... it usually is 10 times in a row!!

The only uptempo song I can do like that is Love 2... Don't know why, but the second half of that song just takes off, and I couldn't get enough of it!

Sometimes it snows in April when I was depressed about my Mom passing away. On a lighter note, All my dreams because I find the end ing so uplifting.

I don't know 'bout 10X but the 1st time I heard Purple Rain I hit repeat several times.....UGH I fell sooooo in love with Prince when I heard his voice for the first time.

That and Paisley Park, I remember repeating that one over n over when I first heard it.

I have this thing where I can't listen to a song more than once unless I listen to all the songs on my playlist, mp3player, CD, etc. After I listen to all those songs, I can't listen to a chosen song more than three times. All of that's in one sitting. I can listen to a chosen song more than once over the course of the day.

That probably seems really weird... And it kind of is... I think it's just one of my obsessive habits...

When I first started listening to Prince I put the radio edit of 1999 on repeat and I'm sure I exceeded ten times because that thing was on for at least an hour and a half...then after I'd gotten to know his stuff better and listened to way more of it, I listened to "U Got the Look" again and realized I loved the song...so that was one of those ones. A few other ones, too, but I can't think of them right off the top of my head. Anything I'm fascinated with at the moment, I can do that with.
