Bruce/E Street, Prince/Revolution? If Bruce can hook up with his E street band every ten years for a new cd, why can't Prince bring his Revolution together for another run and new cd. They are all different people now, the hoopla of '85 is behind them, more mature (some), lets see what kind of music they can put together. WE NEED YOU! ---------------------------------

They almost had a reunion some 2 years ago, but Wendy & Lisa were missing for some reason. Eventhough they once mentioned in an interview that they were still waiting for Prince to call them at an impossible time to ask them to come down to the studio. He just hadn't called them yet. Im glad there will be on Revolution reunion. No offense to anyone in the band but ANY version of the NPG has been MUCH MUCH better than the Revolution ever was. I saw the Purple Rain tour live and on dvd and that band doesn't touch the band i saw in '93 and many shows since. Getting the Revolution together would be a BIG step back for PRINCE. They couldn't play half the songs that he has done since then...just my 2 cents.

As live musicians I think you might be right. The Purple Rain tour wasn't all that musically (not even for Prince himself...too much dancing. Look at the Syracuse video, he often fucks up his guitar solos)...but then again the 1986 Hit'N'Run Tour was WAY better from that point of view, IMO.
