BUTTER High NPGMC New York,
Late Friday night, June 16, catch Prince & The NPG per4m in a very intimate little spot called Butter in NYC. Space is VERY limited in this joint so there will only be a small amount of tickets made available. And we are making these tickets available 2 the NPGMC so we can be sure members are there 2 keep the vibe tight. We know NPGMC members understand that there are costs involved in renting this space out, renting equipment and paying the players we need so we can all have a good time. So when we charge $121.03 each 2 get in, the members know it's because we're making sure that they will xperience an amazing show well worth the xpense. We will be selling the tickets online in the BACKSTAGE PASS room at 12 noon ET, June 16th 4 $121.03 each. There will be a ONE TICKET LIMIT. Space is very limited so no guest tickets this time. U have 2 b a member if u want 2 have this much fun. Get ur ticket and join us at Butter - 415 Lafayette St, NYC , Friday, June 16th. Doors open at 11:30pm. 21 & Over. Love4oneanother, NPG Music Club Any of U fellow NPGMCers going 2 GMA and lucky enough 2 get into BUTTER...have a great time!! [Edited 6/15/06 20:43pm] We need 2 come 2gether, come 2gether as ONE

Oh I'm going to this one. I'll be locked and loaded by the computer. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

how can you say that? the flyer says nothing about the show, only the cost and why the cost is this high. (its almost apologetic for being that high...i wonder if a lack of ticket sales in las vegas had anything to do with that?)

$121.03 for this concert.
$312.10 for the Vegas concert. QUIT THE LAME '3121' PRICING!

I love that they are now using excuses for venue costs to charge stupid gimmick prices.

'tis abit odd they're quite apologetic about the high prices, funny they've come down from 312.1 to 121.03, wonder why they didn't make it 121.30 though?
Anyway, I bet its an awesome show but lets not pretend Prince doesn't have 8 zeroes in his bank statement. He could charge $31.21 for tickets, I suppose he doesn't perform to make a loss though, and how many ways can you twist 3121?!

The club looked pretty packed both nights to me. as of saturday morning (i mean the day of the 2nd show in vegas) i could still buy tickets online. i'm sure it was packed, though. casinos comp tickets to shows like crazy to fill up the venue (and keep people in house gambling). just sayin' is all. i'm sure the show will be slammin! sheila e, maceo...i'm sensin' some jams for tonights show. and i if i were in chicago still i'd already be on a plane. shit's just too damn expensive from ca.

Girl, if there was a presale to the Butter gig before the GMA show, my ass would be in NYC right now! But I don't fly on a "maybe" . From what I hear at the club those tix were gone in 2 minutes. It was only a small number anyways. Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

By the time I entered my info and clicked 'proceed' my computer clock read 12:01pm and I got a SOLD OUT message. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

(its almost apologetic for being that high...i wonder if a lack of ticket sales in las vegas had anything to do with that?) I'm just saying that the price is about right for a genuinely intimate type performance. Not the $312 he charged for Vegas (even though the second show sounds like it was worth it). When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
