Blue Light This song is a personal fav of mine, because I've been there! Him and his companion were having some sexual differences. Prince was Mr. FreakySexyWild, and she was just somewhat sexual.

The Black Album is the main symbol of his depressive period I suppose, although it's never seemed that dark, moody and controversial to me. It's a fun, funky lil album IMO.

"Solo" or "My Little Pill" reflect depression the deepest individually and they have same effect on me for all the wrong reasons.

Probably his two worst commercially released tracks IMO.

Also "There Is Lonely", originally from the I'll Do Anything material.

Personally, to me it sounds like a guy who killed a girl and is remanising about the event. Lot left to the imagination, like motive and was there a relationship prior to the murder. I get a picture of a guy who loved a girl so much that he killed her, because loosing her to somone else was too painful.

The kill was implied by background noises in the song that start at 1 mn 54 sec. First there is the sound of a police car siren. Then there is the sound of several rounds of gunfire along with an agunizing scream which is then followed by the sounds of police talking. Now I'm no expert on visual images relayed from implied meaning of an artist, but to me it sounds like there was definitly a crime. The cops showed up and shot someone and then someone died while atached to a heart monitor. I'm thinking he killed this girl and the police tracked him down due to the evidence of the stocking. During his encounter with the cops he was shot and he died in the hospital remanising about the event.

Now I have been known to have an overactive imagination, but I just listened to this song 5 times and I still get the same picture.

Now with regard to songs I would say Solo , When U Were Mine, Had U , Until U're In My Arms Again,Gotta Broken Heart Again,Something in the Water, So Blue, Anna Stesia, Letitgo, It's Gonna be Lonely, Wasted Kisses ,Anotherlover, Another Lonely Christmas, 17 days,There is lonely, I Love U but I don't Trust U Anymore, Sometimes It snows In April, Purple Rain, Beautiful Ones, When Doves Cry. But I would say that they also deal with Prince's Frustration not just Depression over Broken Relationships and Heartaches.
