Whether graycap is telling the turh or not, we wouldn't know. There is no way to say it's a lie cause P or anyone associated has denied anything. On that same note we can't say he is telling the truth cause the time this event is supposed to happen hasn't come to pass. So I will remain neutral on this post...

Such a package would deserve great attention, & i fail 2 see why only a few albums would get additionnal material when there IS a need 4 proper rerelease of ALL the b-sides & alternate version from the maxi-singles, & SO MANY outtakes waiting 2 see the light of day. So i hope Prince & WB will do it properly, with 2 CD's 4 each album (this is Prince we're talking 'bout, not Eurythmics or Sting!). I'm quite sure that this WOULD sell anyway considering the critical & commercial success of "2131" AND the fact that music magazines would obviously praise such a massive rerelease.

So i guess we'll have indeed 2 wait & see... I also wonder when somebody will mention this thread on the NPGMC boards & what the reaction will b (please note that i WON'T take the responsability 2 do it & DON'T encourage anyone 2 do so by mentioning it. I just think it'll happen, eventually.)

How anyone could think this could be true is beyond me. Think about it, that's all you really have to do to know that this is completely false information.

Come on now. Remastering his entire catalog for release this year? His ENTIRE catalog? That's like taking a warehouse and filling it with millions of dollars, just to set fire to it and watch it burn. Who's going to profit from that? I could see remastering his ESSENTIAL albums; but his ENTIRE catalog? I just don't think so.

In any case, graycap, you said you weren't born yesterday. Please know that most of us here weren't either, and we've witnessed plenty of hoaxes and also endured plenty of legitimate, exciting plans from Prince himself that never saw the light of day. That said, this doesn't deter from the fact that such a release as you mention would be really, really, really, really awesome. I really hope it does come to fruition, but like you said, I'd like to just wait and see.
