MidAmerica Talent is extremely proud to announce the formation of a new Minneapolis All-Star Supergroup, The Truth. Consisting of all former and current members of Prince & the Revolution, Prince’s NPG, The Time, The Family and Mint Condition, The Truth is truly an assembly of Minneapolis musical royalty.

'The Truth' consists of:
St. Paul Peterson (The Time, The Family) on bass, vocals, guitar and keyboards,
Jellybean Johnson (The Time, The Family) on guitar,
Eric Leeds (Prince) on saxophones, keyboards and vocals,
Dr. Matt Fink (Prince & the Revolution, The Family) on keyboards and vocals,
Chance Howard (Prince, The Time) on bass guitar, bass synth and vocals,
Jerry Hubbard (The Time, Jesse Johnson) on bass, keyboards, guitar and vocals,
Kip Blackshire (Prince) on vocals, keyboards and guitar,
Kirk Johnson (Prince) on drums and vocals,
Odell (Mint Condition) on guitar and vocals.

The Truth will perform every Thursday night at Trocadero’s, 107 3rd Avenue North in downtown Minneapolis beginning Thursday, June 15th. The Truth was instigated last month by Jeff and is sure to be lots of fun. The fellas had their first rehearsal last night. Obviously the band will change weekly depending on who is in town but I can guarantee you that Jeff will have the band kicking ass no matter who is around. He's a cool guy and this is a nice addition to the twin cities entertainment calendar. I've seen the songlist and it's pretty interesting ... lots of cool stuff. I think it is gonna be THE place to be on Thursdays for sure!

A similar outfit called The Minneapolis Allstars is also available for corporate parties/functions only although there is the possibility of a week long engagement in Las Vegas. This concept was instigated a few years back by St Paul (they did the 'Live @ The Quest' CD) and they did a show for hotel owners in Vegas a couple of months back. We'll keep you posted as to the musicians involved (the line-up includes some of the above names and many more along with a few surprises) down the track when the website is up and running. The site will be www.theminneapolissound.com along with a few variations.

On a similar note both St Paul & The Minneapolis AllStars and Mint Condition will be playing in London on June 29! Mint is doing 2 shows (the other is the 28th) so you can definitely get a taste of both!!
