I thought He was Drinking something.Because it truly trips me out the way His Voice is kinda trialing off&the Lyrics are a trip.this Vibe is alot like "How Come U Don't call Me anymore" but I don't feel the same about this song as HCUDCM.it will never get played at my Crib on Christmas.Donny Hathaway or James Brown's Christmas Jams but Prince had to be drinking something. mistermaxxx | |

And when I found out that it was one of those "written on a dare" type songs, I started liking it less. Then I got Christmas in Uptown and listened to the shit out of the rehersals and listened to it even less. Even now I have a hard time listening to the real version. this song is definitely one of the songs that helped me to appreciate Prince on a whole new level! The way it is written and yes even his drunken staggering approach is part of it's greatness! It is brillant and believable I love it so much and last Christmas, yes it moved me to tears! | |

this is just one of those incredible Prince joints thats a must have 4 diehard Fams! And I do mean the long ves, the edited vers does the song an injustice. I just found the song online and burned that mutha burn!!! Been searchin 4 that song (long vers) 4 years on cd, NOW IT's ALL MINE!!! | |
