prince posts a bible verse telling people to flee from idolatry. he then goes on a show with idol in the title - no doubt an attempt at being clever or ironic - and acts like a god. he has no time for the little people (the contestants) but preaches from a book that states the meek shall inherit the Earth. hell, he's even got the line in one of his songs. i know prince is only human and could never live up to the perfection in the bible. he could at least make the attempt though, no?

You are correct and if his dissapointment is based on a list of things over a period of time, to the point where he will not pay to see Prince or buy his CD, then he needs to move on to another artist, don't come back here or attend another concert. Ofcourse that's up to him, but otherwise that wouldn't make any sense to involve an artist in your life that you don't like or gets you upset.

I'm just a different type of person. I don't believe in passing judgements until I hear from the person themselves. Until I hear directly from Prince or fully understand the truth (not speculation) of what was going on in his life when he said certain things, I'm not going to say he's a hypocrite or not. Right now, I choose to fixate on the MUSIC and nothing more.

Bible verses can be interpreted in different ways and since Prince has not said one word as to what he really meant by it, I choose to withhold my judgement. Furthermore, didn't the AI producers make a statement that Prince was NEVER approached to be on AI to talk with the kids to begin with. The fact that you still choose to fixate on a negative rumor says alot.

I don't know why you would say that. Back in March I had the opportunity to dance next to him on stage and shake his hand for a concert that costs a mere $31 bucks. He didn't have to do that. When I left, I was on cloud nine for weeks remembering his beautiful rendition of Beautiful Strange he performed that night.

He also did not have to fly lucky fans out to his house where they can watch him only a few feet away on the same level, FOR FREE. So I don't understand what you mean by throwing money and celebrity in the public's face. And what do you mean by seperate himself from the "normal" peopel in the world. how do you know he doesnt have "normal" people around him? i lived with a psychotic woman for 6 years and I was normal. I couldnt help it if she liked to pull out her eyebrows and scream bloody expletives at neighbors because she had a bad day. (dont ask how i withstood it but lets just say I needed meds at the time). Anyway, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of "normal" non fan people around him.

prince is prince. he's a pimp and he probably likes it that way.
