Prince is a grown man. He can't make everybody happy. He has to do whats right for him and follow his gut. I say everybody should chill and be happy that we are all alive to see another day and let Prince live his life.  | |

Kiss seriously sold out with that corny A show about the Phantom.. KISS sold out from day one and never made any bones about it, artistically or otherwise. Gene Simmons has a quote to the effect of 'Yeah, we sellout. We sell out every stadium we play". They painted their faces, yes, but never with the word 'Slave" .... | |

If it weren't for me, she wouldn't even know Prince was still around. I don't know, I don't watch AI. But it must be a good show to some. It has high ratings, And besides Prince does interviews he doesn't discuss anything. He acts like a goof. I don't watch AI either...I only watched last night b/c of Prince. Also, remember that popular is not synonymous with "good". IMO, most of what the general American public finds popular/cool/trendy I consider decidedly bad. (Yes, I'm a bit of a snob.) *Not all of his interviews are bad--he's usually fairly personable on Leno.  The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp. | |
