I still love him to death and all that, but Geez Louise! My Goodness, he looked very pale, his make-up and hair looked like he was getting ready to go lay in a coffin, not to be morbid but if you look at the performance and pictures, he looks dead. In the sense, a corpse. That's what his skin-tone, funky foundation or powder, and his hair (like the texture of it I suppose) made him appear like. Just seeing him made it appear like I was at a funeral because that is how the mortician does the make-up/hair on the deceased people when they have an open casket for public viewing down here. That struck me as very odd. I felt sad, very sad because one day Prince will have to be made-up like that for real. His suit looked great though, but he looked so much more healthier, more happier, and so much more ALIVE and vibrant on SNL. I don't want this post to be offensive, but even my b/f's first words when he seen Prince was "he looks old!". He's either jealous.....or right. I just said "well at least he's movin'!" Maybe Prince was having a bad night, stressed out or was sick. We can't always be beauty queens all the time.

It´s all good, we all have our bad hair days sometimes, or just days or phases where we look not too great. Prince has been looking quite good for more than a quarter of a century, skinny sometimes, but unlike most celebrities never bloated, out of shape, fucked up or whatever, not even during his most turbulent years. Much respect for that kind of self discipline. I know ppl, incl. myself, who change from week to week.....for better or worse.

I also didn't think he looked so good, but by the sounds of things he pretty much just walked in, did his performance, and walked out. So no time for a makeup touch-up.

His make up was awful. Even a blind man could see that. Look at his cheeks. Looks like his blush was applied by my 4 year old.

yes indeed. he had TOOOOO much make-up on. that blush looked like somebody slapped him in the face or something. I was not feeling the suit at all either. the colors were hideous. the jacket was entirely too big. Remember that white suit he had on at that Tokyo show??? where're them shits at? he looked good as hell in that show!

With regard to this thread, Prince's makeup was not great, but he still looked good. The man is almost 48 and has spent the last 30 years as one of the biggest entertainers of all time. He's been touring and working his ass off for us virtually nonstop. It's amazing that he still looks so good. Give the man his credit and quit hatin.

i really disliked his hair. it's in that in-between stage, where he's growing it long, but still wearing it like it's short.

Thats what happens when you arrive 30s just when the show is going to air. You look unprepare and that is what happened there.
