I wasn't even watching that crap, but then my mom called and told me Prince was on. It was like watching an Angel descend from Heaven. I was in disbelief.

The performance was just OK. I'm always antsy when he's performing and very critical because I love him. I thought he should have brought the guitar and did Fury, not dance, or say things like 'sho nuff' of which seem like their are from a different era (the 70s). Did not enjoy the Lolita performance. It didn't make an impact.

However, I was all smiles when he did Satified. I know most of you hate it, but it's one of my favorites songs on the album. Loved it (except for the shonuff part ).

Hope this kicks the album up into the top 10.

Well, when Ryan said that there were no more special guests, I thought I saw his eyes flick backstage for just a moment...like a confirming glance. And I kind of laughed (you know, the kind that says, "B.S.") and thought, "NOW is when Prince is gonna perform." It was awesome. And I really did scream...I do not exaggerate (well, OK, I do, but not right now I don't). Then I looked at the screen and was like "hey stupid, quit screaming. Don't you wanna hear it?"

But it was really great. Sales of his albums will go up overnight. He is one smart man. And did anyone else notice that Prince looked incredibly satisfied after the performance? It was like a "so ha" look.

I only caught the last minute of the performance and

I had seen the whole thing

and to think I was watching 'Sweet Sixteen' while
Prince was performing Lolita!!

I kinda hate myself right now

but I have to send a special Thank you to my girl
