Did Prince have any "regular" jobs growing up?

Did Prince have any "regular jobs"(ie. lifeguard, bag boy, working at a wreckastow) growing up, or did he always just work on music (bands, singer/songwriter)?

I heard him in an interview back in 80 or 81 and he said all he does is make music.

vgallo6: it was the Amsterdam interview where he said that he "never worked..and would NEVER work" Music took up too much of his time. (damn typos)

I worked at McDonald's with him back in '75.
That's where he came up with the term "Chicken Grease".
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Well, my brother had a friend back in the day that claimed Prince babysat him once but I hardly think it's true.

He definitely had a job as a teenager. The recent Uptown issue has an interview with Chazz Smith, his cousin. He mentions a job Prince did back then, I'll will look it up later.
