What was your favorite Prince concert that you went to?

My Favorite concert was PURPLE RAIN. Prince was Phenomenal and he played for 7 days in N.Y.. HE proved what a gifted and exciting a performer he was. I was hooked on his music from that time on. What about you? Tell me about your favorite concert?

Seattle this year. I met a lot of cool orgers, and got 2 talk to Prince. I also sang a note or 2 w/him...But I really sucked!! sad His guitar work was amazing!!! Another highlight was sitting next 2 all his guitars smile
I also got 2 met John B. He gave me a drumstick. I also got 5 picks from princes guitar tech (I 4got his name) It was a lot cooler than the lovesexy show.

He went 2 the EMP and we got 2 c him take a tour. That was pretty cool. By far my favorite concert!!! smile

August 18 1988 at the feyenoord stadium was pretty cool. And i really loved the march 25 1995 show too. I saw him 16 times but i liked these two shows the best.

Definately the ONA show in LA this past may...it blew me away...

I've seen the following tours:
Purple Rain (when I was thirteen and baptized to the funk)
Jam of the Year
Hit N Run...

--> He started this show with "The One", and for some reason this show just had "that vibe" ...

but the following shows came close :
- Paris, Septembre 1st 1993
- Den Bosch, August 10th 1993
- Brussels, March 28th 1995

Celebration II - The Rainbow Children
In St. Paul 1st or 2nd night - he sat down at the piano and played the song 'Free'
It's hard to pick one concert, but that night jumped out at me.
The concert at the 1st Celebration too! ( I do like Prince when he's stripped down!) wink redface
Peace

For the sheer spectacle of it, the LoveSexy show (1st nite) in Mpls, '88. This was my first concert ever, so it will always have a special place in my heart! heart

For emotional intensity, the accoustic set at this year's celebration stands out.

Beyond those, the many Paisley Parties for Emancipation. I should've journaled them, but they all rocked. It was so nice to hear all that material live. (Too bad he dropped almost all of it by the time he did the Jam of the Year tour.) The stand-out nite was a nite when Mayte stood by Violett and I (after she was done dancing onstage) and grooved to the rest of the set. After the show, P actually walked through the crowd and I shook his hand. Oh, what a nite! :O

I didn't visit so many concerts as many of you. I also went to concerts at a later time ,which i am ashamed about ,but i learned to live with it.
I'll have to do with the nude tour .I saw prince 3 times that year and the first time was the best. I took a hotel to visit the first two days and got treated as a king.
It was in the feijenoord stadium Rotterdam NL 2/3 June 90?
At the concert it was soken wet. But who cared. Both days i stood in line early but i didn't manage to come into the frontfield ,i was not so good at concerttactics back than.Anyhow both days i managed to come very close and i totally freaked out ,also on partyman.
I am also very certain that on both concerts i had an eye to an eye contact with the little man. Prince i mean.
