Cool Prince Trivia Questions!!! Who can get 'em???

OK, I'll admit - a few of ya'll stumped me...maybe I'm not the Greatest Prince fan ever.

Here's some questions that maybe some of you can answer:

1) What instrument/track does Prince traditionally play first when recording a song?

2) What were the total number of songs Prince recorded for the Dirty Mind album? What hasn't ever been released? Why?

3) What usually determines how long Prince will play for a concert? He's been known to play well beyond a traditional set and he's alos played shorter sets.

4) What time does Prince usually sleep? How long does he sleep on average?

5) When did Prince probably take drugs? Not the hard stuff, but maybe LSD, ectasy, etc. Does he drink alcohol (pre-JW days?)

6) What and when will he release later this year? Xenophobia (instrumental jaz)? A live album from the last tour? Heard of the "Roots" project???

7) Did Prince ever run into money problems? Did he make any money from 1978-1984? Did he make money from the Controversy tour?

8) Who's his best friend/friends? (Mani doesn't count)

9) What are his usual concert riders?

10) What is his favorite album? Does he listen to his own music?

I know nothing for sure. I hear he doesn't need much sleep. Boggles my mind - I'm good w/ 8 hrs, better w/ 10...

I'm don't even know what this means.

No clue about the fave album, but I would guess he listens to his own music - he said so in an article once, but he was also promoting an album @ the time so...

I should have just skipped this thread, huh?

I seem to remember him saying that the FUNK determines that.

I don't think he always uses the same instrument first, but he said in a radio interview with MoJo in 1985 that when he's in the bathroom trying to brush his teeth and all of a sudden there's a "groove" he has to get a bass guitar quick.
