It just fucking KILLS ME, makes me wanna kiss somebody, break stuff & ride a dick all @ the same time WTF?? Is this his most killer baseline EVER??? What could be better than that??? And leave all that "TRC is racist!" shit somewhere else, PLEASE

Family name is racist as fuck.
The hawking like voice talking about white and black says this and that which is opposed to it. That is white people in the talking; meaning they are oppsed to blacks and against god. ' sold to the one who can mix the misplaced bloodline with the white jailbait' ^^off another song 'you can't teach old dogs new tricks if it's tail don't wag' ^^ come on; obviously talking about whites. SO FUCKING RACIST! DAMN SHAME; GREAT MUSIC.

did you notice the bass that's behind the introductory bit? where the computerised vocals lead into the song. i guess for the moaning bitches it's hard to notice since they only hear the voices and start bitchin right away, lol. but i love that bubbling bass behind that. and then it kicks in full force when the song starts. i absolutely LOVE it. love the entire song. love the way he screams toward the end with the guitar just exploding. it reminds me of "Temptation". the Jefferson part and the distorted Prince vox personating him are a touch of genius imo. simply said: i just fucking love this song!!! and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

That's the part I'm talkin' 'bout!!! In the intro - where it just builds & builds... sometimes he holds back, sometimes he just smashes that fucking pedal. I think the bass behind the entire intro is fucking amazing

777-9311 and Erotic City (and its distant cousin 1+1+1=3)have the most recognizable bass I have ever heard in Prince/Prince related songs "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."

Quite dig the bass line in Space. Also like the bass line in We March and Days of Wild (Crystal Ball Version). Also that dirty funky noise that kicks of Le Grind and runs throughout the song. Dunno if that’s a bass line though as there is a proper bass guitar in that tune…
Really don’t like Family Name at all. I find it dull and monotonous.

"Alphabet St.", "The Stick", "Head", "Let's Work"... Neversin. Alphabet St. is my favorite, too. It's hard to really hear how great it is without headphones, though. My Legacy

Don't sleep on The Days of Wild. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.
