I was just wonder if 3121 is anyone's favorite Prince album now that we've heard it? Sorry if this topic has been brought up before. Personally for me, beyond the Batman soundtrack and the B-Sides Disc, it is up there as one of my favorites. I love 3121!!!!

I think that those who say it isnt in their top ten (me included - although 3121 is a trully fantastic song) will lets say, 10 years down the line, class it as one of their faves.
This seems to be the case for me - 'For you' is slowly becoming one of my all time faves, I cant stop playing it at the moment... because P's music is like a fine wine - it will get better with time

It is in my top 10, maybe even in my top 5 (might depend on the mood).

yes it is my favorite because it is 'NEW' and really good and even incense and candles and the dance and get on the boat grew on me after a few listens (they didn't strike me immediately) ... (but i can't stand fury any more). heck you can even put BLACK SWEAT on the pub videojukeboxs here how cool is that?

..."quite cool" - yes, but not as cool as being able to drop Lovesexy (the track) in North Wales on a Friday night. It's just so good in every single way!

for me, it's in the soft bellied middle of prince albums that aren't great but aren't lousy either.

I think in ten years time it'll be like Diamonds & Pearls, a decent album but not one you think of too often or be motivated to play much.

Well...

Let me put it this way: if you replaced all the songs from "3121" with songs from "Sign "O" The Times" it would easily be my favourite Prince album.

It's easily in my Top 10. I still can't stop playing this album and it's been soooo long since I could say that for a Prince album with such enthusiasm. I love it.
