Shock Horror - just heard Fury on BBC Radio2

only problem is, Steve Wright back announced it with "hey, he's a phenomenal artist but lets face it, that's not his best, is it."

?!?

it's not his best, no but it's healthy and one of the best in years and years.
plus, probably one of the top 3 best songs he played that day on his show, so
i say Steve Wright got it Wrong.

Great work, Steve.

We all look forward to the next BBC jingle:

Hey!!
!t's the Steve Wright Show
Here, on BBC Radio 2
Let's face it
He's not one of our best, is he?
In fact, he's a washed up has-been, who's had his day.

Maybe not as catchy as some of the greatest BBC jingles but, like 'Fury', people will love it, no matter what Steve thinks.

Steve Wright is hardly the arbiter of musical taste is he? Still, if he's playing it on his show it must mean that Radio2 have play listed it which is a good thing.

Very quick of the mark that was only said an hour ago.

Ken Bruce played it today as well and loves it.

It is on the playlist - the A list. So it should be played around 20 times in a week...

Fury is definitely one of the better songs that are being played now and it's just absolutely wonderful to dance to!!! Right now there's no other song that gets me going like that! The Brits performance inspires me.dancing jigbiggrin

I heard that too.

I remember Steve Wright commenting on Top of The Pops 2 after showing Tom Jones perform his version of kiss saying he thought that Tom's version was much better than Prince's.

Remember also he presents the truly awful lovesongs show on a Sunday morning.
