what do you think of that&How might that speak of Impact? do you think Lenny Might Feel now at this stage of His career that He is Close to Prince's&that His Same Amount of Grammys is a Reflection of that?? or is Lenny lucky because there are more Categorys&the competition isn't as strong??

Grammy awards are as full of shit as the Academy awards...

The number of Grammy awards is not necessarily reflective of being on the same level as someone else, or above that level of those who haven't won as many. There are some very significant artists that never won a Grammy.

The award is just a reflection of commercial impact (most of the time), not always artistic.

Hendrix never won a Grammy in his short career. The Beatles only won one for Best New Artist. I'm not one of those who thinks the Beatles are the world's greatest at anything and everything musical, and sometimes they get more credit than they deserve by certain people. But they were worthy of being recognized for more than just being the Best New Artist of 1963. Most important Jazz recording artists never won a Grammy either. I guess it's nice to be recognized but it's rare that it bespeaks musical impact.
